Because we only carried surfboards, wax and a couple of peanut-butter and jelly sandwiches, no cameras, I had Rick Almanzan recreate the Milk Truck, aka War Wagon, in all of its Thor colors glory, just as Joe Mangeng and I had painted it with the best Sears Outdoor housepaint one could buy back then. The vehicle terrorized the Pacific Coast from Baja to Bolinas.
