Me telling the story of my first custome surfboard. Here it is. A Phil Edwards model Hobie. For all these years I thought Micky Munoz had shaped my board as he was the one Mom always talked to on the other end of the phone when orderding, shipping, delays, etc. However, Dick Metz, founder of SHM Foundation, told me that Phil personally shaped my board. If you go back to the photo froim 1967 year, you will see my board, cut down from a 9'6" to around 7'6" that I reshaped while in high school.
